There are a great many block-stacking games. Here is an honest account of what this one does, so you can decide whether it is the one you want.

It starts immediately

Open the page and press start. No account, no email, no download, no launcher, no age gate, no cookie banner, no "continue with" anything. The whole game is a few hundred kilobytes and it loads in well under a second.

That matters more than it sounds. The gap between wanting to play and playing is where most casual sessions die.

It is free with nothing attached

No advertising, no purchases, no subscription, no premium currency, no cosmetic store, no energy meter, no daily login. There is nothing to sell you because there is no business model. It is a game somebody made.

It works offline

Once loaded, it keeps working with no connection. Marathon, versus CPU and split-screen all run entirely on your device. Useful on a plane, a train or a bad hotel connection.

It has real versus modes

A computer opponent at three difficulties, split-screen for two people at one keyboard, and online duels over a five-character room code with no account required at either end.

It plays properly on a phone

Not as an afterthought. Gestures and on-screen buttons, a portrait layout, and a landscape layout where the controls move to two thumb clusters so the well keeps the middle of the screen.

It follows the rules you already know

Seven-bag, SRS rotation with wall kicks, hold, ghost, lock delay with move resets, T-spin scoring, back-to-back, combos and perfect clears. Your muscle memory transfers.

It is open source

The whole thing is on GitHub under the MIT licence, including the test suite. If you want to know how something works, you can read it.

What it is not

It is not a competitive ladder. There is no ranked matchmaking, there are no profiles, and there are no leaderboards beyond your own best score stored on your own device. If you want an ecosystem, this is not it. If you want to play, it is ready.

Is TETERI free?

Yes, completely. No account, no advertising, no purchases, no subscription. There is no business model attached to it.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser. You can optionally add it to your home screen, at which point it also works offline.
